The original watercolour illustration by Flint, commissioned by Bell, publishers, for Princess Ida first edition book of 1910.
The quality of Flint's work was and remains awe-inspiring. As Charles Wheeler. artist and President of the Royal Watercolour Society said of Flint's work at the 1961 Flint retrospective at the RA, "He has a baffling skill".
It would be very hard to find any watercolour painting that comes finer and more perfect than this museum quality work.
