Edwardian "Sheraton Revival" painted satinwood demi-lune table that opens out to a games table or tea table.

Very fine quality painted satinwood demi-lune table that opens to a circular tea/games table. The central rear leg telescopes out on the mahogany drawer frame to support the flip over half of the table. The original baize is on the table. It is a little "tired" but can easily be changed for a new one if the buyer requires.

The condition is excellent, with all the original painted decoration present and the surfaces without scratches or losses to the patina.

The inlaid banding is kingwood, bordered by fine ebony stringing throughout.

Unusually, this 1900s English made item found its way to Argentina, purportedly with a British diplomat, and bears a 1920s seller's label of "Thompson, Furniture Seller, Buenos Aires", and found its way back to the UK.
