Life size pair of Lions in the nineteenth century 'Renaissance Revival" style. Nicely aged with weathering and lichen.
Dated about 1950 - 60 From a country house near 16th century town, Mildenhall, Suffolk, England.
Bespoke casts from reconstituted stone, marble resins and other materials made to look like 19th century Cotswold stone.
Extremely heavy (took four big geezers to move them) and very convincing.
